Attention Algebra I and Algebra IB students: Algebra I EOC testing will be either April 30th or May 1st and May 2nd for all classes. The test is 10% of your semester grade and also tied to the A+ Scholarship Program. A score of proficient or advanced is required to receive this scholarship. We will be having nine review sessions (some after school and some in the evening) that you may attend. Here are the times and dates. See your math teacher if you have questions. Are you interested in an education career? Students interested in an education career: You have the opportunity to travel to MSU on Friday, April 26th to listen to the Missouri Teacher of the Year and the Superintendent of the Year speak about the future of education. We will leave the high school at 9:30 and return by 2:00. There is a permission form on School Pay.
Writers' Guild Writers' Guild is a club for anyone who enjoys writing or is looking to hone their writing skills. We work on and share feedback on poetry, short stories, creative essays, plays, song lyrics, or even novels and work on publishing a literary magazine cataloging and displaying our and Nixa's best work. Meetings are in Mr. Lawless's Room (256) Mondays after school from 2:30-3:30.
