48th Annual Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy Students age 16 - 18: The 48th Annual Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy will be held June 11th - June 16th. More information can be found in the counseling center.

GO CAPS Information Sophomores and Juniors: There will be informational Open Houses for students interested in GO CAPS. All meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. on the following dates. January 17th: Tech Solutions at SRC January 19th: Business and Entrepreneurship at the eFactory January 26th: Engineering and Manufacturing at SRC January 31st: Medicine and Health Care at Cox North


GO CAPS/OTC Career Center Sophomore and Junior Students: The applications for GO CAPS and the OTC Career Center are open and available online. The priority deadline for both is February 28. Group Picture Day Students: Group picture day is Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the main gym. See the sponsors of any clubs you are in and get your Group Picture Day pass. You must have a pass in order to appear in your club's photo. You must be present for the photo in order to be included in your club's picture in the yearbook.

ACT Workshop Juniors: We have the opportunity to attend an ACT workshop presented by Chad Cargill. This workshop will be held on March 30th on the Missouri State campus. More information is available in the counseling center.


Boys Tennis There will be a pre-season tennis meeting, in the commons, on Thursday, January 26th. The meeting will be from 2:45 - 3:00. This meeting is for any boy interested in playing tennis this spring.


Poetry Out Loud Poetry Out Loud- Congratulations to Nixa's Poetry Out Loud competition winners. Skylar Parker took first, Quinton McCort took 2nd and Samantha Wilson came in 3rd. Skylar will be representing Nixa at the Poetry Out Loud regional competition in Springfield on February 21st.


Writer's Guild Writer's Guild will meet every Monday after school in room 256, Mr. Lawless, please bring a pencil.
